Queen Yuna

Even if the current news (what with all the falling out, coach-changing and all) still continues to sadden me, I still find myself in front of the computer, watching Queen Yuna's Olympic Gold-winning Free Skate at the Vancouver Games over and over. Admittedly, I was rooting for Mao Asada at the time. But after watching Yuna Kim skate her heart out that night, I knew that the Korean champion deserved the Gold medal, more than anyone else in Vancouver, Canada.
Yuna, I am looking forward to watching your new programs (and, ehem, meeting you in person for an interview). Don't turn pro, Yuna. The skating world needs you! I think you and Mao brought credibility (and the faith of skate fans everywhere) back in the sport.
